Fashion Week Favorites

Who can resist NY fashion week? Certainly not anyone at TT's Attic! As much as we'd love to be there to see all the fabulous styles in person, this year we had to settle for perusing fashion week photos and articles on the internet. We've posted photos of our two favorites from the handbags and accessories category. We absolutely loved this off white shearling and crocodile bag from Reed Krakoff. We thought it was perfect for the transition from summer to fall. Another favorite was this pair of sparkling blue earrings by Oscar de la Renta. What a great accessory for a night on the town or to dress up a more casual outfit! What are your fashion week favorites?

The Countdown to Fall Fashion...

With the end of August approaching, that only means one thing - time to start shopping for fall fashion essentials! Fall has always been one of TT's Attic's favorite seasons and this year we are doubly excited. Not only do we get to stock up on our favorite fall scarves, coats and sweaters but this fall also marks the release of the completely new and improved TT's Attic. Hold on to your hats ladies, because we've got a hot new inventory line and new business model coming to you at the end of September/early October 2011! Gold or Silver?

Jewelry is the perfect accessory to any outfit - winter, spring, summer or fall. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings are must haves in any collection. But the question is, do you prefer gold or silver? At TT's Attic, we like to mix it up and have a little of both! Depending on the outfit and occasion, gold and silver can both add pizazz. Either one can glam up a little black dress. And for the browns and tans associated with fall, gold is a great way to add a little oomph. We've posted photos of some of our favorite pieces. Handbags and purses have been a long time favorite of TT's Attic staff and customers alike. Corset Love

Corsets and bustiers have always been one of our favorite choices to add a bit of sex and sizzle to any outfit. Corsets are flattering for most body types as they hold in the stuff you don't want to show, while emphasizing your best assets. They look great with jeans and heels, or dressed up with a nice skirt and jacket. I'd Rather Be In Miami...

TT's Attic would just love to be in Miami, along with Victoria's Secret models and A-list celebs at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. The hotel, which used to be a hotspot for celebs like Elvis and Frank Sinatra, recently underwent a $1billion renovation. Ah, how nice would it be to sip a cocktail on a beach paradise then get all dressed up in your hottest outfit and hit the Miami nightlife? What's Cookin!?

TT's Attic found a cute, flirty piece of fashion that is one of a kind and a bit different than the items we typically purchase - an apron! While we were perusing the web to find new items for our summer collection and of course for our personal collection, we came across this pin-up'esque apron that is sexy and flirty all in one. The combination of stripes, baby blue polka dots and white gloves was unlike any apron we've ever seen before. We ordered one and can't wait to try it out! Red Belt of Hotness

Red is one of our favorite colors to add a bit of sizzle to any outfit. Whether it be red stilleto heels, red lipstick or red accessories, you can't go wrong with the eye popping color. The Future of Online Shopping Is (Almost) Here!

In our quest for fall fashion previews on the internet, TT's Attic stumbled across some fashion news that could change the future of online shopping. According to fashionnews.com, Adrianne Curry, a winner on Americas Next Top Model is launching a new form of e-commerce that would allow users to click on pictures of their favorite celebrities and purchase the items the celebrities are wearing in just one easy step. According to the article, with one click you will be able to purchase makeup, shoes, apparel and jewelry that you have seen on your favorite celebs. Sounds like a dream come true to us! Whether or not this idea will catch on remains to be seen, but we are excited to see it roll out.

Shopping for Stripes...

Summer is in full swing and TT's Attic has been on a shopping frenzy. We can't get enough of summer stripes paired with shorts or cropped pants. Our two most recent faves are from Ella Moss. When we saw this colorful yellow diagonal striped tank, we couldn't resist! So far we've worn it with cut off shorts and with white cropped pants and it looks great! 

Our second favorite from this collection is this pink and gray diagonal striped tank. We tried pairing it with knee length black shorts and loved it! Two must buys for anyone into the summer stripe craze. :)

A Little Bit of Fringe...

Summer skirts are one of TT's Attic's all time favorite summer essentials. Whether it's a light weight cotton skirt, a party skirt or a flirty denim skirt, nothing else offers such a great combination of fashion and comfort. Here are just a few of our favorites for  Summer 2011.

The summer heat is upon us! And TT's Attic couldn't be happier. Warm days like today make us want to sit on the beach in an oversized straw hat and some shades sipping a daquiri with a little umbrella. A girl can dream, right?


 If we can't have the whole package, we'll at least take the hat! Straw beach hats are one of our favorite summer accessories. They are the perfect combination of fashionable and practical. Fall Fashion Preview

It may the first official day of summer, but it's never too early to take a sneak peak at fall fashion. We stumbled across some great photos and Bohemian prints when we were perusing Elle magazine. If these looks are any indication of what's to come, TT's Attic is very much looking forward to fall fashion. Bold colors, mismatched prints and fabulous accessories are favorites of ours no matter what the season!

Better Late Than Never...

A day late and a (few) dollars short, but this weeks "10 Cent Tuesday" sale from TT's Attic is the short sleeved belted brown jacket. The only remaining size is XL so get one at the online store before it's gone!

TT's Attic would also like to draw attention to an organization we've supported in the past, the Our Legacy Vision Foundation (also known as "Dads Without Backpacks"). We have donated a handbag full of jewelry in support of the Masquerade Ball taking place for the foundation at the Utah State Capital Building. TT's Attic is pleased to announce the beginning of "10 Cent Tuesdays"! Starting next Tuesday, we will list one item (be it apparel, handbag or jewelry) and list it as an Ebay auction starting at only $0.10 plus shipping and handling! Our copper and black faux snakeskin bag is always a great choice and is our option one. Our second pick was the gray tweed hat, normally $12. TT's Attic has landed in NY! With phase 1 of our expansion complete, we are looking forward to a fun summer filled with boutique parties, sponsored events, charity events and of course FASHION! We're Back!

TT's Attic would like to apologize to our loyal customers for the delay in postings. We have been busy working on our expansion and temporary move to upstate NY. TT's Attic will not only be hosting private parties and hiring consultants in the greater Salt Lake City area, but also in the Syracuse, NY area within the coming months. This is a very exciting time for us! In addition to expanding geographically, our new website is FINALLY being built and new product is on its way in. What a fantastic first 5 months! :)
